Set default priority for one project tickets in Service Desk

Hi!

 

Jira 7.2.9 (I know, it's old). I'm attempting to set the Service Desk so that all tickets coming into that project (ONLY) are assigned a Medium Priority, no matter where they come from, but other projects are set to Unassigned. Is that possible?

Hi Nick, you have a very easy way to do this, althouth a little bit slow. You could add the priority to all the Requests in the portal but make it a hidden field. When you hide a field you have to choose a default value, just choose medium so all the tickets are created with that Priority.

If further on you do not want people messing with the priority you could take it out of the edit screen so the canno change it (remember to leave it in the create, and view screen).
