I am trying to create a request in service desk which requires the requester's manager approval. Here, the requester has to type his/her manager's name every-time a new request is created. Once this request is created, the issue/ticket goes for managers approval.
Instead, I am looking for an option to set default Managers against each users, so that the requester need not type them manually. And the approval workflow will go through the specific manager automatically once created.
I have tried the plug in "User Profiles for JIRA", but they dont have the option for adding this manager field on to the approval workflow.
Please suggest me a solution for the above.
