I have a current service desk customer who I also am trying to set as a Service Desk agent/user.
But at this point, I see him listed twice in the Service Desk customers.
I can get him logged into Jira, but the Service Desk project will not appear for him.
I just want him to be able to see the service Desk queue...but it will not appear for him in the list of projects.
HELP!
Without seeing your configurations, there could be a couple of reasons for this here.

Just a few mins ago, I saw an option for "migrating" the profile to a Service Desk status...something like that. I had to tell Jira WHY I was doing it...which seemed odd...but after I migrated it...only one profile appears, and he can now see the Service Desk option.
So, I think I stumbled upon the answer. It works now. Thanks.
