Service Desk automation check user that make a comment

Hello,

I am trying to create an automation rule which will detect that a comment on an issue has been made by a specific user, to make a transition. The only thing i have already found is that you can detect if the user is agent or customer. Can it be more specific?

Hi Christos,

Currently, it's not possible to add more option in the User type on Automation.
We have a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:
- https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-4010

In this case, I would suggest the add-on Automation for Jira.
There are the paid version and the free version that you can use 300 free rule executions per calendar month.
- Automation for Jira
- Automation for Jira - Cloud Lite

The example below I created based on your request and it works:
