Hey,
do u guys know a way to create a field where I can select the future assign agent directly?
So a customer can choose from a support form his/her fav. agent, something like this.
Best
Hiii @Salih Zengin
You can make a field as user picker (single user picker) and then create automation and after choosing the options in the field user picker, then the automation assign the issue according to this field (single user picker )
How directly? I mean the custom field is ok, single user picker and a group with spefific users are also clear. But from where can I use the automation to assign?
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
In project automation you can write when issue created and in condition you can write if that custom field (user picker) select user a for example then assign to user a.
The project automation is in the setting of your project.

When this happens...
Issue created
Then do this...
Edit Issue...
Field...Assignee
Automatic.
Where can I say, "Pick the user from the request customize field where the user is selected."?

In condition you can use first option and write jql and say custom field (user picker) = a and in next step (then) say edit issue and choose assignee option and then assign = a

The value 'a' does not exist for the field :/

Hii @Salih Zengin
Excuse me for the delay. let me speak about what you want. You have a portal and now you have some agents and maybe in the future the number of agents increase. For the present agents, there is not any problem. But for the future agents, you have a problem that how to add future agents in the field of the assignee (i mean they can be assignable). This is the problem? And could you tell me how many agents do you have?
Thanks a lot

Hey no worries, i am thankful for your help :)
What I want is, when a customer choose a favorite agent, the ticket should assign directly to this agent. Automatically.

Okey
after adding agents to the custom field (user picker ). Then go to the setting of your project and project automation and write as photo bellow:

It looks different for me, and it doesnt accept any variable like X or test.
Also for THEN. I choosed edit issue and Assign, and i can only choose People in the list, no variable.
Any ideas? I mean Project Setting and Automation, but i use a cloud version, maybe this makes some differrent?
