Select a Team on a form

I want to make Team a picker on a form but don't see it showing up. This is for a portal request and we have made the field available. I know the best practice is to have the team select based on what options they choose but we have people who enter tickets that know what team they want work routed to.

At the minute it doesn't seem possible to directly call the Team field in a form. 

Out of interest how many teams do you have? It may be possible to do something via automation and a custom field but could get messy if you have hundreds of teams.

Around 200 teams. We are a Fortune 100 company with a large Jira footprint.

I would say that may require the use of some outside scripting or maybe the use of Scriptrunner to build the functionality. 

I image the feature to use the teams field in a form will be released some day.

We do a lot of scriptrunner scripts in workflows. Hopefully teams will be available soon.
