SSO JSD and shopware 5

Stefan Franke
July 29, 2021

Is there any experience here with SSO between shopware 5 and JSD?

Within shopware 5, I would offer the customer the option to access the JSD via SSO in order to make individual requests there. He should not have to log in or register again, hence the consideration via SSO.

Not Shopware specifically, but yes, plenty of other software works with SSO and Atlassian stuff.

In fact, this isn't really a Jira, or even Atlassian question.  The Atlassian stuff supports a number of user systems that do SSO, and so does a lot of other software.

If you have a user system already, it's a question of if Atlassian supports it (and how it does its SSO) or not.  You'll need to ask the same question of Shopware.  If you have not selected one yet, then you'll want to look at finding one that both Shopware and Atlassian support (ideally off the shelf, but Atlassian stuff has an extension framework that allows you to extend the range - years ago I wrote an app for Jira and Confluence that enabled SSO from a user directory that was not directly supported at the time)
