I am forwarding mail from a catchall email to my service desk. I want to run automation based on whether an email was forwarded from the catchall email or sent directly to the service desk email address. There doesn't seem to be any way to do that.
One thought I had was to create an ADDITIONAL channel email, forward the email from the catchall to that, and create automation that would know which address it had been sent to. Has anyone tried that before?

Is the forward from the catchall automated or manual? Is there a way you can append something to the Summary or add a phrase in the body of the email? Then you could substring out that and use it in a Condition in the automation rule.
