I am having trouble with an automation running. When I click on Run Rule, it is successful and sends the email that I have setup for it. But if I wait for it to run on its own, it is not running. Here is what I have configured. This is just a test configuration to make sure it runs correctly. I have this set to run every 5 minutes if a status has not changed from "waiting on customer".
Once I have the kinks worked out, i will change it to the actual time frame that I want to use. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

And when you Validate the query, are there any returned results?

Correct. Here is the screenshot of everything. the rule runs successful if I click the Run Rule button. So that leads me to believe that I have the CRON and and JQL query correct. But it doesn't run on its own and I don't get any errors that tells me why it didn't run.

@Jeremy Tatro ~ Do you see anything in the Audit log, like a "No Actions Performed" entry that you can drill-down?
And is the Rule actually enabled?

The rule is enabled. When I look at the audit log to see if there is anything there that tells me why it failed, there is nothing. I do see the two success attempts when I did the run rule, but nothing for when it runs on its own. I am at a loss here.

@Laurie Sciutti Think I figured out the issue. I changed up the CRON expression a bit and it seems to be working.
