Hi,

I'm looking for a way to display issues which share the same value in a custom field.
Lets call this custom field "ID"

We have a team which when working on issues, needs to see if other issues share the same value of the field ID.

Previously we had an add-on for this, but since we moved to Jira Data Center from Cloud, this is not available anymore. The add-ons we've tried out after migration slowed our system down, most likely due to not being suited for Data Center.

Is it possible (without manually doing the search in jira) to display issues sharing the same value of the field "ID"?
Possibly through creating a custom field containing script and adding this to the view screen?

We have recently installed Scriptrunner, however i am very new to this and are not sure if it's possible to use it for this.

i'm not quite understanding how you want this displayed. the only way I can thing of is creating a JQL filter but it sounds like you don't want that.

Hi Jack,

What i'm after is showing the issue keys of issues which has the same value in a certain custom field. I imagine this being show in a separate field, if this is even possible.

I know it's possible to calculate values of 2 given fields and have the result showing in a 3rd field.
So my though is that it might be possible to use Scriptrunner, or other options to achieve this.

I know it's probably a bit advanced, which is why i'm not sure if it is possible.

Got it. TBH I’m unsure if scritrunner can do that or not. Hopefully someone with experience in this are will chime in.
