Hello,

when setting up an approval with a selection of the approver via a user picker field is it possible to restrict the user picker to users of the users own organization?

In our use case the organizations represent customers.
It would be weird to ask an employee of customer A to approve a request for an employee of customer B.

Ideally customer A shouldnt even know that customer B is a customer.

kind regards

Jens

@Jens Kisters __SeibertSolutions , as long as the customers are within the same organization, the approval field should not present users from either outside or other organizations. However, if the user knows the customer B's email, Jira will not block that and the ticket gets created.

I'm afraid you cannot prevent that OOTB but you can achieve this through custom validators, addons, etc.

Cheers.
IL.
