Resolution Options

Hi All,

I'm looking to update the resolution options we currently use. Are the below options used as standard across projects?

Done
Fixed
Won't Fix
Duplicate
Incomplete
Cannot Reproduce
Failed Test
Won't Do
Declined
Auto Resolve

I hope you are doing good!!

Yes, it will be used as a standard across a project. You can add your custom resolution also if needed. But if you want certain resolution to be used on certain project only then you can use "workflow properties" to limit the list available to an issue type at any point in its workflow.  (As you can do workflows per issue type and project, this is "resolutions by project).  It is not nice to build and maintain though, most people who do it limit it to standard sets of resolutions, and only limiting in certain places.

And the ones I listed, I understand these are default options. Are these pre-defined and used across Jira globally? Can these be taken out?

Yes, this option will be globally used, but if you want you can remove also.
