I'm using Jira-Cloud new generation.
I felt disturbed by resolution field in the reports (as we don't need it) and i was not able to hide it. It appears even by closed issues with the content "not solved/done"
So i deleted it...
Now i guess this wasn't a good idea as i'm not able to create workflows regarding this field, as the field is still appearing in the report.
Any idea how to get this solved?

Just to make sure that we are on the same page, I would like to confirm if you are using a Classic or a Next-gen project.
I know you mentioned "new generation", but if it's a next-gen, I would like to know more details, because the field Resolution is not added to this type of project. You can find more details on the feature below:
If it's related to a classic project, can you please let us know what steps you followed to delete the field?
We need to know the steps so we can replicate here in order to know how to fix.
Also, just to let you know that, in Jira Cloud, only tickets with a resolution are considered closed.

Many thanks for your message and welcome.
In the meantime i got support from the SW company which provides the reporting app i‘m using in Jira. At the end my problem could be solved without even touching Jira, and it has nothing to do with the deleted „custom field“ (i wasn‘t aware of it).
