Please, help us to start our first project. We have many requests for the support via standart e-mail of our Univercity. We want to move these e-mails requests to the JIRA. We can't enable public registration because: 1. huge amount of users (and user can ask from dirrerent mails); 2. some of them don't need registration (for example applicants or parents of the students). Is it possible to fix all request receiving from mail to the JIRA without registrtions? Hope to your support
Kind regrads, Alexander Goldberg
Alexander,
In order to accomplish request by email without registration, you have to allow public sign up. Please see topic under Before You Start.

Thanks for the answer. We've seen it. We will have a HUGE amount of user used system once or twice... But we shoud keep all their info for the years.. May be there is another way to see request from unathorized user (sorry, I forgot to leave SEN number: xxxxx). Kind regards, Alexander.

removed SEN# as this is a public forum so best to keep them private.
As Victor indicated you really need to use public sign up. If you don't care about retaining the uniqueness of the reporter (can't imagine this being the case) you could set up some sort of forwarding rule in your email server where all requests hit the public helpdesk email and then all emails in there get forwarded to the Jira email. But this is a fragile solution an not something I would advise.

Thanx! Yes, we did so "fragile solution"... But all answers to the requests send only to this common email... Seems we still have a big manual routine. Am I right that there ie no any more way to fax a lot of requests without a huge registration? (may be some trial users which will be automatically deleted from the system or smth another). Kind regards, Alexander.
