I am looking for a standard report or a widget that will allow me to report:

  • Open tickets per day per assignee for a specific project on a given timeframe
    • x axis: days between x date and y date
    • y axis: count of tickets
    • values: stacked bar or lines of total count of tickets per assignee
  • Resolved tickets per day per assignee for a specific project on a given timeframe
    • configuration as above

Hello, @Alex Beltran

I am not sure that you can achieve these with standard Jira reports. Would you please clarify your requirements:

1. What do you expect if a ticket is assigned from one person to another on the same day, do you expect to count this issue as open for both Assignees?

2. If a ticket is open for several consecutive days (and assigned to the same person for all days), should it be counted in each of the days for this Assignee on the x-axis as an open issue, including the day on which it is resolved?

3. If a ticket is resolved on day x by Assignee A, do you expect the report to count this issue as resolved for that Assignee also in the following days (x+1, x+2, ...) in your timeframe.

These reports can be built with our app Performance Objectives: Charts for Jira  with each of these options, but they require different configurations.

It's possible that some of the data can be retrieved with out-of-the-box Jira reports, but not in the format you've described.

Please note that I am part of the Performance Objectives app team.
