Hi, how do I create a report that will show me how many requests each user has opened?
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
The easiest thing to do is run a search for the issues you are interested in reporting on, save it as a filter, then go to a dashboard and add a filter-statistics gadget. Configure it to use your saved filter and group by the reporter field.
Thanx!
But I want to know how many requests were opened by each user, no matter what type of requests

The gadget will show you exactly that. You'll get something (prettier than plain text, but with the information):

Hi,
this works but only shows latest 50 tickets,
we have already 700+, and we wish to learn about all of them
any other gadget that might show more than 50?
Thanks,
Natan

No it doesn't, it shows up to 50 people's issue creation.
Most of the reasons I can think of for looking at a report that does this, I would generally only be interested in the top 10 issue creators - the question I'd be looking to answer is "why are these people creating so much more than others"?, I really wouldn't be interested in the people creating a number of issues lower than the mean average!
If the top 50 raisers is not what you're interested in, I think it might be worth looking at the problem you're trying to solve with this reporting. What are you going to do with this data when you've got it? What is it telling you?
