Is it possible to remove this field from the Ticket Creating Screen?
Unfortunately, it is not possible as Request Type is a key element of the JSM functionality. When agent creates an issue via the project UI directly, the option of "No request type" setup is build-in to the product.
However, it will not stop agent from creating issues in the project UI with that specific option.
