Record and log times

Hello,
In other projects, we have the option to record and log times. See screenshot ‘Log work’.

Unfortunately, we do not have this option in a new project, and I have not yet found where I can set this up/activate it.
Can you help me?

please ask to a JIRA Admin to check the permission scheme and your project role within this new project. You, probably, have not Work on work items permission (https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/time-tracking-permissions/)

Hi @Jens Prokoph 

For the "Log Work" button to appear, these three things must be true simultaneously:

Time Tracking is enabled globally.

The Time Tracking field is present on the Issue View layout.

You have the Log Work permission in the project’s permission scheme.

If the project is team managed just add the field in the Issue Types u want.
