Read-Only Custom Field in Issue View JSM

I have the Team custom field set up so that it is 'Read-Only' (available in the view screen but not the edit screen)

The current behavior is when I try to change the team it looks like it allows it but then reverts back to the previous value.

I have another field on the issue the when you hover over the value it doesn't highlight or show as clickable/editable.

I've tried setting them up so their field settings/screens are the same but I cant get the Team field to display like the Incident Start Date

 

Incident Start Date is only available on the Issue Request Form view, and its listed in the create, but not edit or view screen schemas. When setting up Team the same way, Team just does not show up on the view at all.

Hey @Lily Driscoll ,

I'm not sure if you managed to 'resolve' this but I would just like to confirm this behavior (for Team field). I would recommend reaching out to Atlassian Support and discussing that with them as they could create a bug/suggestion for mentioned 'problem'.

I guess it's not a big deal but it's not that user-friendly I would say.
