je viens de découvrir jira et spécialement jira service desk (Débutant) , j'ai fait la configuration du STMP et postfix et maintenant j'arrive à envoyé un mail depuis jira à ma boite mail du tuteur et ma boite email. ma question ça sert à quoi d'envoyer un mail ? et pourquoi en général en utilise les mails dans jira ?

Welcome to Atlassian Community! Firstly, I would like to know if you are using Jira Cloud or Server because the settings for each version is different. Also, for us to better understand what is happening, can you please share with us what emails you are receiving?
