Project for service desk will not show roles

I can set new permissions up in permissions, but i would like to add members to the existing groups instead of creating new ones.

I have cycled the service, rebooted.

windows server 2019, postgres, service desk 4.10.0-REL-0013, jira 8.10.0

If there are no users or groups in a project role for a specific project in JIRA , then that project role will not be shown on the Roles tab for that project. However, you should still be able to add users or groups to that project role through the "Add users to a role" link. Once the role has users or groups in it, it will be displayed.

All set, i got bit in the backside by internet exploder

We do not have access to the internet, i brought in a firefox installer and it functions fine, will have to discuss rolling out a modern browser
