Problems with email design/layout

Linking a JSM to receive external email into it and all the design/layout of the emails are screwed up. Images not loading, links not rendering as well half the time.

I know it isn't designed to work like traditional email but is there any chance of just being able to display what comes into as it is intended without it all messed up and unreadable or is that out of the question?
