JSM for has option for JIRA field Priority but this does not carry over to the story from the ticket creation.
Hi @y2urps
What are the steps you are executing.
If you don't provide a field with a value, no value is set on that work item when creating it.

Hi @y2urps
How does your workflow looks like?
Are you creating a story from a JSM work item?
By default, if you don't add any values to the create screen, nothing is carried over to a new work item.
You can do that with automation.
Do you have any autopamtions set?

Thanks for the response. We have automation that creates a story from a JSM work item. The intake for is created with an option for the submitter to choose priority. We do have Priority field in JIRA as well. Would have thought they would have mapped like the other fields that work. Very strange. The work item is generated primarily from non-JIRA users thru portal.
