Hello Everyone,
I am trying to use post function "Sends a customizable email to the selected recipients and with the given content" on the issue create event which is not working for any JQL filter. Sequence of this event is already set to last in the post function list.
Didn't getting anything helpful in this context, we have our Jira on cloud.
Also facing issue with this event on other stages too.
Please guide/help.
Thanks in advance.
Maybe someone else can hop in and help?
I do not have the access log over cloud. Lets see thanks for your time.

May I ask which is the scope of putting JQL condition into this?

It is for when condition of the PF where it required When, Who, Where.
So that when JQL condition matches and it will trigger the custom email to the set of recipients.
Is there something wrong? please let me know.

It indicates that whenever the issue raised and its initial status of the workflow.

I understand, but is it necessary, as this is a transition pointing to that status, so I don't think it's valid to add it as a condition.
Can you try removing the condition?

Yes in this scenario this is necessary, i also tried without this condition its not working. Also used it in mid stage of workflow there it was not working too. So didn't getting any fruitful solution over it.
What you suggest where i can use this PF..?

Is this a built in function for cloud?
I currently have access to Server only and this is not an out of the box plugin.
Mostly use Email this issue, or ScriptRunner's email PF.

Yes this is built in function. Using Email this issue will have the manual task. while is am looking for the automated mailer to be sent.

Do you have access in the logs?
I really can't figure this out as I am not familiar with it and no log details make it difficult.
