Possible to use ProForma to allow anonymous users to create support ticket?

I am attempting to use a ProForma form to help create tickets in our Jira Service instance — and while I was able to enable the form to create a ticket upon being filled out, I see that users MUST be logged into Jira in order to do so.

Our end use case is to allow anonymous users (via a webpage) to fill out the form and have it create a service request in Jira.

From what I can tell, I don't see any indication that this is possible.

Does anybody know if this is doable? And could you point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Welcome to the Community @Evan Ebert 👋

You've got it right. At the moment, ProForma forms can't be used to allow anonymous users to create tickets. Users must be logged in to Jira to use Issue Forms

Thanks for your help @Peter Preston ! Much appreciated.

That makes sense. I'll seek out an alternative solution for the time being. Perhaps in the future it will be possible to accomplish.

@Evan Ebert , have you managed to find an alternative solution? If yes, what is that? Thanks
