Welcome to the community.

Are you an admin of the instance?

As you mention that you are on a free plan, when is the last time this instance was accessed.

For access you should be a user or org admin, reach out to one of them in your instance.

If the instance was not used for over 90 days it can be deactivated, if longer it can be completely removed.

The org admin (creator of the instance) should have then received mail on this.
