Option to retrieve deleted user stories with backup?

Hi, 

I´ve deleted user stories and tasks by accident and need a solution to retrieve them again. 

Does anyone have an idea if there is an option to get them back with a backup?

I'm workinf on server but i think there is no difference with cloud, but for me there is no option to get back deleted issue in jira. Deleting an issue mean gone forever. Unless if you have a backup you have no option.

To avoid this i will remove the delete permission, but an admin will always be able to delete an issue.

It's the same on Cloud.  To restore a deleted issue, you have to

• Restore a backup that contains it to a development Jira
• Find the issue(s) to recover
• Work out the best way to copy them back into the main Jira which could be
  • Partial entry by hand
  • Partial entry by import
  • Partial entry over REST
  • Merging (long and complex, and can require days of downtime for Cloud)

As Mohamed says, you really want to remove delete permissions from everyone, including admins.  An admin can always grant themselves the permission, but you can at least make them have to work at it, so there's less chance of an accident.
