Oomnitza to Jira Assets poential migration

Hi all,

We currently use Oomnitza as our main CMDB and have the connector into Jira that allows for some useful functionality. This works fine, but we want to look at importing all of our assets into Jira Assets as of course there is so much more you can do once the data is here. With that in mind, we are considering trialing Asset Data Manager and using a combination of those plus Assets as a possible replacement for Oomnitza.

Just wondering if anyone here has done similar and if so how they found the experience? Any pointers if so? Hope I've outlined this helpfully.

Thank you very much!
Jake

HI @Jake Collins

This could certainly work.

Keep in mind to use one source as the source of truth if you keep both.

Data Manager is to intake information where you can analyse and even filter or restructure the incoming dat before importing it into Assets.
