Notification email when publishing announcement

Hello,

I am trying to make it possible, that when I publish an announcement on the "help center" page to automatically send an email to specific customers. I've tried a lot but I cant figure out how, the only automation I can find is for issues.

There isn’t a way to do this for customers OOTB. I seem to recall there is an open suggestion for this.

I am considering to use https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1215215/scriptrunner-for-confluence?hosting=cloud&tab=overview to make this possible with javascript. Thoughts?
