Hi @Candy Tricia Khohliwe , thanks for your question.

Do you get any email notifications from the Jira instance you are referring to? 

The reason I ask is because if, in your "Personal Settings" for Jira - found here

If you have selected, "Don't send me email notifications" then you won't get them, even if you are a watcher or should otherwise get them according to the notification scheme in the project.

Please check this setting and let me know if it helps.
