Hi,
I want to create the custom fields & then add them to Issue types and Request Types. Under Fields, I am not seeing any option to add/configure custom fields
Is this because of some access issues/limitations?
Please help me understand this. Thanks

Configuring of custom fields means, you will need be an Jira Administrator or Administrator to make changes to Jira Settings that affects custom fields, if you're not then you cannot create / configure custom fields. Likewise, the ability to see a custom field means that you've already created one before and its added in your Field configuration. If you have, this should be available to you in the Request types > Edit fields. If it's not, then you will need to check your screens and add the right field so it becomes visible there. Hope that explains things.
