Not able to add the custom outlook email for service desk

This error message pop ups. Unfortunately jira couldn't connect to the mail server. here is what the mail server said: [Authenticate Failed]invalid email credentials failed.

How to fix this issue?

Hi Vinay,

The wrong credentials are being used. Use the correct credentials. Cheers!

Jira was not having an access/ permission to use Microsoft email. Once permission is granted it automatically connected.
