I created a new jira org to test to see if the service management offering will meet my needs. I added an Asset plugin that requires that a user be in the site-admins group in order to adjust the settings. I am the org admin/creator. There is no site-admins group available to add to users and when I attempt to create the group, I get an error saying that it already exists. How do I get the site-admins group to be visible, so I can add it to my user permissions?
What app have you installed that requires these permissions? Have you tried to contact the vendor directly via a support request?
The app is "Asset Management for Jira". I didn't reach out to the vendor, because my other projects have a site-admins group and I'm not sure why the new one doesn't have it showing, so figured the issue would be resolved by getting the group to show.

I agreed with @Dave Mathijs suggestion. In general Groups setup in your JSM env should all be available, there should not be a need to create another new group.
Contacting the vendor directly will be your best option in my opinion.
