New user, can't see Service Desk project

I've created a new user and assigned every role other than admin roles. When I login as the user, I cannot see the Service Desk project. I can see all other projects. 

Roles of interest:

  • confluence-users
  • jira-servicedesk-users
  • jira-software-users

I have tried deleting and recreating the user a few times.

 

Any thoughts?

I'm also having the same issue.  To answer the questions above:

 

  • What type of user have you created? Customer, Agent or something else?

    As an "Agent" but even with admin permissions they get the error?

  • How did you create the user exactly?

    They get invited to Jira/Confluence/SD via an invite when they join.

  • When you say the user can't see the Project are you attempting to do so via going to view all projects or maybe creating an issue from the JSD app or something else?

  • Do you have other users that can see the project?

    Yes and even duplicating the permissions makes no difference?

@Brian Young, welcome to the Community. I have some questions that might help me assist you with this.

  • What type of user have you created? Customer, Agent or something else?
  • How did you create the user exactly?
  • When you say the user can't see the Project are you attempting to do so via going to view all projects or maybe creating an issue from the JSD app or something else?
  • Do you have other users that can see the project?

Have you added the user to the project as a service desk team member?  This is done in the project settings under users and roles.
