Need to share issue stats via shared dashboard but manager does not want to be in the project?

What is the best way to do this?

We are using Jira Cloud to sync AD users in as "Customers", but do not want to add them as users (paid licenses) to view dashboards. Am I thinking right here?

If you have Jira Core or JSW and the manager is a user of the same, here is how I do it and recommend:

  1. Create a new collaborator group for the JSM project in question and add the desired users - admin > user management > groups
  2. In the JSM project go to project settings > permissions and give the new group Browse permissions at least and maybe Comments

Hi @Blane Smith

You manager doesn't need to be in the project to view the reports. How are you doing it now?

Ravi
