Looking for an out of the box or marketplace plugin to solve for the below problem.
We need to be able to send an email to a distribution group (not a problem) and have any user who has access to that distribution group's inbox click a button in that email "acknowledging" the receipt of that email. We then need to show in the UI that the email has been acknowledged to the team working the ticket.
I was told the approval workflow might be able to solve for this, but from what I can tell, you have to list out what users will be approving (a.k.a acknowledging) the ticket. In our use case, this email could go to one of ~25 different DGs with the users in those DGs changing without our knowledge.
The users receiving these email will not have access to the Jira system.
