Hi there,

I am looking to add people as admin/project leads for all our boards since the two admins are no longer with the company. Looking to be able to edit the boards and create releases, etc.

Can you assist with this?

Hi @Jennah Kearney

As individual with Administer Jira global permission (by default members of jira-administrators, administrators, site-admins groups) you can modify any board Administrators list.  Just search for specific board and click Board settings -> General -> Administrators.

As Jira administrator you can also edit project permissions. Usually you need to click Settings -> Projects -> click ... near project you need to modify, and select Project settings -> then click People -> add specific person with Administrators role. If it won't let this person create versions you need to verify Permission Scheme associatedd with this project.

Best regards,

Piotr
