When the Jira email is used (IT@XXXX.atlassian.net) to create an issue, it does not show and no issue created.
I have tried sending from GMail and Outlook - same results - nothing!
Hi @Tim Haynes, you can look at a couple of configurations and logs to help you to understand why it's not working. Have a look at your customer permission configuration to ensure who can send requests to your project via IT@XXXX.atlassian.net. You can also look at the logs under Products > Email requests. You can ask your Jira administrator to check that if you don't have Jira admin permissions.
Cheers.
Thank you for your suggestion. I am the Admin and I checked the Group membership also. Nothing is working and I am stuck.
This is a message I am getting:
The error was:
------------------------
"Cannot create issue due to invalid license: [Sorry, you can't create any issues right now, as you need to have access to a Jira application to be able to create issues. To gain application access you need to be a member of a group assigned to an application.]"

I see; the message you're getting says you cannot create issues due to an invalid license. I suppose you (and the user sending an email) can create issues via UI, can't you? Perhaps, we can better assist you if you can share 1) your project customer permissions settings, 2) your global JSM customer permissions settings, and 3) what you see under Products > Email Requests > Email addresses > View log > Processing Log.
