I was wondering is there any way to move / re-assign a ticket in jira service desk from one queue to another.

Are you looking to move/assign a request within the same project or are you looking for a way to move the request to a different project?
If it is within the same project then you just have to look at the JQL that the queue is using to see how the queue is picking up requests. If you are looking to move it to a different project then you can do that with automation. Basically what you have to do is create a copy of the request and then close the existing one.
Hi @Mikael Sandberg and thank you for your quick response. I am actually looking to move the ticket to a different project queue. I was just given Jira admin rights and am with limited knowledge not really familiar with the automation but I will do my best.
