Move location of widget from bottom right

Jason von der Linde September 26, 2024

I would like to move the location of the embedded jira widget icon on our UI. I cannot figure out how to move it from the default location in the bottom right. Is there a way to do this? This is important because it conflicts with a major feature of our product that is currently in that location. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi @Jason von der Linde , welcome to the community!

Is this regarding issue collectors? You can go to project settings > issue collector > edit

then under Trigger style they will move the widget to different areas I believe, or you can use custom and see if you can set the location and style to your needs

Hi @Christopher Yen thank you for the quick reply. This looks like it should work. A few quick follow-ups if you don't mind

1) Does this work for the question mark widget as well as a "submit an issue" or "contact us" widget heading?

2) Does moving this around also work if it is more than just an issue? I have embedded in my widget a confluence wiki as well as other request types (feedback, technical issues, etc.) - will this work for all request types and the searchable wiki as well?

Sorry if this is super simple - I am new here so trying to understand the customizability

Hi Jason, Unfortunately I'm not super familiar with the collector beyond the basic configuration. I think if it's all using the issue collector the style should apply regardless of issue type
