When i move a an issue in ServiceDesk to the same project in order to use the correct request type it doesn't seem to reapply the workflow according to the request type.
For example if a user create a request issue which actually should be a request with approval issue.
I'm moving the issue to the appropriate type but than the issue isn't using the workflow that is used for approval.
Is there a way to "reset" the workflow to run from scratch or change the status from waiting for support to waiting for approval?
Thanks
The issue type is associated with the approval workflow.
If you are creating a new Issue from scratch it works.
Only when i try to move it doesn't work
@Olga VidecI have run re-indexing didn't help

Hello @Roei Kessler
Have you tried re-indexing the project? Have you made many changes lately?
Usually, when you move the issue it will ask you to edit previous wokflow statuses to match new workflow.
The reset/re-apply workflow you could copy current workflow and associate it with desired issue types.

also, make sure that the "Issuetype" is indeed associated w/ the approval WF.

I have not attempted this myself TBH so it may be a bug/limitation. You might want to reach out to Atlassian Support on this. If I get time later today I will run a test.
