We are migrating to Cloud, however I am a bit stumped on how to migrate our users. Our users who will need to be customers in cloud are all on a LDAP directory in Server. We are not going to be using Access in Cloud. The customers (currently users) will not be using Atlassian accounts.
Any thoughts or recommendations on how to migrate the users and get them to be in cloud, and possible still keeping the past tickets display the names of customers/users who have worked on them.
Welcome to the community. If you don't uses Atlassian's Access, then you cannot have your IDP to manage your existing users (LDAPs) in the Cloud. Cloud env will force you to have Atlassian accounts.
We are in the same situation, but we also need the ability of using our own IDPs by our security requirements. I would recommend you to follow-up with Atlassian Support (https://support.atlassian.com) to ask them for additional guidance.

Hi @Alex Haddad , Are you migrating Jira Software or JSM to Atlassian Cloud ?

Both, however the main concern is JSM
