Unfortunately I have not managed to make a phone number in a ticket clickable (like mailto).
Can someone please help me and explain how it is possible to make a phone number clickable in a ticket. According to the same principle as it is possible with an email address.
I can't imagine that something that is easy to include on any website is not possible via JSM/JSD.
UseCase:
Agent opens JSD/JSM via cell phone and can call the customer directly without having to copy or type the number.

If you are talking about a phone number that is in the description or in a comment there is nothing currently set up to do this. Some browsers will detect this and make them clickable but if you are using the app that is not the case. I would suggest submitting a feature request for this here: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa I was not able to find one.

@Gregor Brummer Yes there are some third-party apps that have custom fields for phone numbers that make them clickable that I have seen in server. I an not sure about cloud you would have to go out to the marketplace and see. The ones that I have seen with this functionality are not on cloud but the environment should not matter for this feature. You should look at apps that have custom fields or allow for custom profiles.

I have seen these apps too, but we need it for an unlimited license and to pay around 8.5k just to make a phonenumber clickable sounds a bit hard, don´t you think so.
Do you know why Jira doesn't have such a self-evident feature?

@Gregor Brummer I do not know why they do not have a phone number field. They make changes based on the demand of their user feedback. I would suggest submitting a feature request https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa They may end up doing it but you would need the request first.
