I have a JSM with Atlassian portal. I have a transition button available on customer portal. It changes status of the request from Draft to Draft. What actually happening is that I have a automation rule to trigger on this transition and set the request from to Open to edit. This process working fine but the issue is that the form is editable from back end but on front end it is still not editable until user refresh the page. I am trying forge button to achieve this but I realize that this is not possible with even forge button.
So what is your solution of my problem
Hi @Ather Mahmood and welcome.
At the moment, I can not come up with solution on how to force page reload natively in Jira.
Maybe it's not a solution, but a workaround... I suggest that you add a comment action to the automation rule, where you will "notify" a user that they have a form available to edit. Then you could add a greyed out text below that will say something like "If form is not editable, please refresh the ticket page."
Hope this idea makes sense and helps a bit.

Benjamin
