Hello,
Where are now working with JIRA Services Desk for some week and we really enjoy it.
At the moment where still receiving a lot of email in our support boxes. so where thinking about enabling the Email handeling in JIRA so that most of his email will be tickets.
The only problem is that we also use the same email addresses for the internal email communication about customer emails. so we don't want to also add these as new issues or comments with the customers.
I am think about a rule that we can isolate internal email and ignore that email or at it as a internal comment to a ticket.
But at this moment i cannot find a Email handler that can do that.
Does somebody have good addon or trick for this?
I was reading that some people have problems that comments created by email are marked as internal. how do they do this because cannot find a way to do this.
I am looking for the same solution, did you already find one?

Mail handler requests don’t come to JSD. This is because JSD has its internal email request where you’ve to specify a request type. Mail handler set via JIRA.
Please see topic under Configuring a Mail Handler

Only the problem is that the JSD Email request has a lot less options than the JIRA Email handler. so the Email request still does not solve my problem.
