The Jira mail handlers is not working starting from 14 Nov. Originally it is working normally, now, starting from 14 Nov, even there are new coming email in the gmail inbox, the work item is not created and when I run the test, it pops up "No messages were found in this mailbox. To properly test this handler, populate your mailbox with a few emails first and re-run the test."
I did not find any other error message on that, the Mail Handlers incoming mail does not work suddently
We are experiencing the same problem.
It seems to have started between November 13th and 14th.
Hi @Adrien Severe
We eventually resolved the case by re-authorize the Gmail to Jira (even though the authorization is not yet expired)
After authorization again, the Jira successfully resumed the scanning of new incoming mail in the Gmail inbox is resumed, then the automation of Jira work items creation is therefore resumed as normal

Hello @Indy W
Thanks for the advice

We had already tried this several times before posting here without success.
Finally, the problem was solved by deleting the "Incoming mail server" and then recreating it (after modifying the handler security settings beforehand).
Everything is back to normal; the issue was probably due to a change in the authorization format on Google's end.

@Adrien Severe
After re-authorization, we had also adjusted the [Delay (in minutes)] value in Incoming Mail Handler. We set it to [3]
Suppose that we would avoid the request blocking from Google in the case that Jira send out too much request to Google Gmail (scanning the inbox) by adding some delay among requests

We have the same issue, and it also started on 14th Nov.
Have confirmed multiple times that the Oauth creds are valid to the Gmail account.
Any suggestions out there?

Hi @Indy W ,
please check that the email used by your handler is working correctly (probably there is some conenction issue at that side)
Hope this helps,
Fabio

Hi @Fabio Racobaldo [Catworkx]
Thanks for the advice.
The mail handler was originally working, and it does not work suddenly.
We have not changed any email account, credential and permissions
