Looking to reopen an issue that has been closed.

I am an administrator for project and siteadmin with atlasssian site, Following documentation to change transitions using bulk edit indicates I don't have permission to change transition. Is there another way to reopen closed issues. Attempted to use Permission helper to change transition too. Site is in a Cloud environment.

Hi Russ,

If this is the error observed when bulk transitioning the issue, then it means that you do not have permission to Transition the issue from one state to another. Make sure you have the transmission issue permission in the project.

Project settings--> Permission --> transition issue. Make sure to be part of the required group in the permission.

You can also check the workflow for the particular transition if it includes any validator which might be blocking the transition.

Best regards,

Shwetha
