Looking for a smart value for the web link/external link

Hi,

I am looking for a smart value for the web link/external link. In Automation for Jira I want to copy the linked web link/external link to a comment or a text field. Anyone have an idea?

Hi @Marco Brundel - Unfortunately, I don't believe this is possible.  I tried using automation to read or set external links about a year ago, but unfortunately it was not possible.  To my knowledge, this is still the case. 

You may be able to do something with the send web request action hitting the API.
