Hi teams,

I've created request types and organized them by groups. Is it possible to create queues with those groups ?

There's actually 7 groups with 10 different request types

Thanks,

Unfortunately this is currently not an option.   A queue is created using JQL and groups are not currently exposed and searchable in server.  You can upvote the request here Expose request type groups to search filters or JQL to let Atlassian know that this is a change that you would like to have made.

Until this is available you can easily make a simple change to your submission process that will allow you to get the desired result. Create a component for each of the groups.  Add the component field to the request types and hide it.  When you hide it you will be prompted to set the field value.  Just select the group you want the request to be associated with.  This will allow you to create queues that are associated with the groups since you can filter on component.

Hi Brant,

I've now created component and assigned them accordingly, which is a good alternative. Thanks for your inputs !
