Jira service desk unable to confirm DNS record match

Hi,

We keep getting "We're unable to confirm a match" emails from Jira service desk due to problems with verification of DNS TXT record. Our TXT record does include the text as required by Jira as follows:

"v=spf1 atlassian-sending-domain-verification=<ID> include:.... ~all"

Is there any problem with the way we included verification text? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello Raghuram,

Looks to me you merged two records into one.

You should have one TXT record for value like "v=spf1 include:_spf.atlassian.net ~all"

and another TXT record with value like "atlassian-domain-verification=<ID>"

This seems to be an issue on your instance with the Atlassian backend. You need to contact Atlassian.

They are the only ones able to check this.
